Honduras Mission

Following the devastation and severe flooding caused by Hurricane Mitch in 1998, members of St Mark's began traveling with a local medical assistance team to several small mountain towns in southern Honduras.   Learn how St. Mark's relationship with the town of Ojo de Agua first started, and how it has grown to provide for daily breakfasts at a children's preschool, and much more.

School Fuel San Marcos : Fueling Children for Learning

School Fuel provides nutritional weekend meals for school children of San Marcos CISD who have a high risk of little to no food at home.  Volunteers meet during the school year, on Thursdays at 6pm to pack bags, and Fridays to deliver them.

Habitat For Humanity

San Marcos Area Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to putting the dream of home-ownership within reach of working families.  St. Mark's provides financial support and volunteer labor during building projects.

Meals On Wheels

The San Marcos chapter of this national program delivers nutritious meals, friendly visits and safety checks for local seniors that cannot leave home.  

Redwood Community Center

Centro Esperanza is a non-profit organization that provides the Redwood/Rancho Vista community with health and wellness programs, adult and youth education programs, and basic needs referrals.  St. Mark's has had a longstanding involvement in supporting this community effort.

S.O.S. Bags

These bags are assembled by parishioners to keep handy for people in need. They contain various things like soap, socks, water, protein bars etc.  Interested?

The African Jewelry Project

- annually sponsors the sale of jewelry made by women of  several African countries. All of the money raised goes back to the artists. This is a project supported by the Episcopal Church Women. Interested? 

Hays-Caldwell Women's Center

- a social services organization, supporting women and children, giving them a safe place away from abuse. Financial aid is always appreciated, but if you have food, toys, or clothing to donate please call 512-396-4357 before visiting. St. Mark’s has had a long-standing relationship with HCWC and is a particular passion of Fr. Ben’s. Please talk to Ben, or check out their website at hcwc.org

The Greater San Marcos Youth Council

-has a mission of sheltering children and strengthening families. Clothing and food is always appreciated. Call 512-754-0500 to donate, and feel free to look at their website at gsmyc.org.
